On August 28, as part of the working visit of M.E. Sultangaziyev, Akim of Almaty Region, Bolatzhan Saimasaiuly Nurbekov, Acting Chairman of the Almaty Regional Maslikhat, paid a working visit to Uygur District.
During the visit, a number of facilities related to the district’s socio-economic development were inspected and their activities reviewed. In particular, the delegation visited the “SPK BIG FISH” LLP in the village of Rakhat and held a meeting with representatives of the district’s farming enterprises. The operations of the “TuzdyBastau” LLP sodium sulfate processing plant were also reviewed.
As part of the working visit, the delegation attended the opening ceremony of the new building of the Uygur District Department of the Almaty Region Police Department of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In addition, the progress of construction of a sports and recreational complex in the village of Chunja was reviewed.
During the visit, a personal reception was held for residents of Uygur District, followed by a reporting meeting with local residents. The reports of the district and regional akims were presented, and residents received answers to their questions.
At the end of the visit, the delegation reviewed the operations of the “COMPASS” filling station and attended the opening of a new sports complex in the village of Shoshanai. The new sports facility is designed to create opportunities for children and young people to engage in regular physical activity, promote mass sports, and encourage a healthy lifestyle.
