Winners and prize-winners of the “Mereili Otbasy” competition were awarded

A solemn event dedicated to summing up the results of the regional stage of the national contest "Mereili Otbasy – 2026" was held at the "Center of Competencies". It was attended by the akim of the region Murat Ergeshbayev, chairman of the regional maslikhat Murat Tleumbetov, representatives of the intelligentsia and activists of public organizations.
The head of the region noted that the family is the golden core of society, the spiritual pillar of the nation, and expressed gratitude to the participants.
"I sincerely congratulate everyone on the completion of the regional stage of the national contest 'Mereili Otbasy', which exalts family values, glorifies the beauty of the home hearth and the example of raising descendants!
Every year, exemplary families from each region actively participate in the contest and are honored with respect. This year, 220 families from cities and districts took part, and 16 families were recognized as the best. Such exemplary dynasties lay the foundation for preserving the continuity of generations and promoting values.
President Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich noted: 'The institution of the family makes an invaluable contribution to the formation of a new quality of the nation through the comprehensive promotion in society of qualities inherent in an 'Honest Citizen', such as diligence, the pursuit of knowledge, and benevolence'.
Our People's Constitution clearly reflects the place of family and the upbringing of descendants in the life of society. Therefore, raising the status of the family, strengthening the responsibility of parents in raising children, and protecting the rights and interests of children is our common task.
I express my sincere gratitude to all families who preserve the strength of the home hearth and have made respect and mercy the basis of their lives. I wish every home lasting happiness, well-being, and abundance!" - said Murat Nalkhozhauly.
The winner of the regional stage of the national contest "Mereili Otbasy" was the Kutmambetov family (Aral district).
The Bakirov family from Shieli was awarded 1st place, the Doskhozhayev family from Kazaly – 2nd place, the Bimuratov family from Kyzylorda – 3rd place.
In addition, the nomination "Ulagatty Otbasy" was awarded to the Zhumagaliyev family (Aral district), the nomination "Berekeli Otbasy" – to the Shakhmaranov family (Kazaly district), the nomination "Baiterek Otbasy" – to the Tortayev family (Karmakshy district), the nomination "Kemel Otbasy" – to the Kiyasov family (Karmakshy district), the nomination "Zhigerli Otbasy" – to the Tulekov family (Zhalagash district), the nomination "Yntymakty Otbasy" – to the Akhmetov family (Zhalagash district), the nomination "Enbekkor Otbasy" – to the Bisenov family (Syrdarya district), the nomination "Onegeli Otbasy" – to the Burkhanov family (Syrdarya district), the nomination "Maueli Otbasy" – to the Abishov family (Shieli district), the nomination "Ulgili Otbasy" – to the Akylbekov family (Zhanakorgan district), the nomination "Onerli Otbasy" – to the Auelbekov family (Zhanakorgan district), the nomination "Shuakty Otbasy" – to the Bodanov family (Kyzylorda city).
The winners were awarded gifts and cash certificates. The event concluded with a festive program.
In the region, special attention is paid to ensuring social stability for every family. Today, about 17,500 large families in the region receive constant support from the state.
Over the past four years, citizens on the housing waiting list have received about 8,000 keys to apartments, and more than 30,000 of our compatriots have acquired housing. In 2026-2027, it is planned to transfer more than 6,200 apartments for use and solve the housing issue for about 25,000 residents.
In the direction of promoting family values and paying special attention to the upbringing of descendants, systematic work is carried out by "Anaga Tagzym" and "Otbasy Ortalygy". "Centers of Spirituality" in the districts provide support to young families and implement important initiatives.
