External Analysis of Corruption Risks Conducted in the Digitalization Sphere of the Akmola Region As

 

As part of the implementation of the Anti-Corruption Policy Concept of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2022–2026, the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs in the Akmola Region, together with relevant agencies and the public, conducted an external analysis of corruption risks in the activities of the State Institution «Department of Digitalization and Archives of the Akmola Region» and its subordinate organizations State Institution "Smart Aqmola", State Institution "Smart Aqkol - 2018", State Institution "State Archive of Akmola Region" State Institution "State Archive of the City of Kokshetau", State Institution "State Archive of Zerenda District".

The analysis covered key areas, including the regulatory framework, human resources management, public procurement, as well as information security and ICT asset accounting issues. Based on the results, 5 risks were identified, and appropriate response measures were taken for each fact to eliminate the causes and conditions contributing to their emergence.

A total of 20 recommendations were submitted to the control object to eliminate and minimize these risks. Based on these recommendations, an action plan has been developed to prevent similar situations and enhance the transparency of the agency's operations.
